Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Pricing of new BPA deals, including reviewing benefit specifications and scheme data, recommending pricing assumptions and analysing results.
* Identify any non-standard pricing features and recommend an appropriate pricing methodology.
* Prepare RFQ responses on deals, including all structuring of bespoke solutions for schemes where this is required to facilitate a transaction.
* Lead on contract negotiations with the support of the Chief Origination Officer and BAC UK legal teams.
* Preparing pricing packs and presenting deals to the Senior Management Committee for approval.
* Proactively engage with the risk function on deals to support the approval process.
* Liaise with EBC’s and Independent Trustees on pipeline and deals.
* Attend pitches where needed on a deal.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Qualified actuary with 9-15 years’ experience.
* At least 1 years’ experience pricing and/or deal structuring UK BPA deals.
* Insurance sector experience and knowledge of UK pensions/ bulk annuities.
* Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize deliverables, and work well under pressure and deadlines.
* Possesses high professional standards and exemplifies exceptional integrity and credibility with strong relationship management skills.
* Works well in a team-based environment.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
