My client is a small import and distribution company specialising in architectural products for the construction industry, located in the Sandyford area. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, they are experiencing growth and seeking a dedicated Commercial Manager to support their sales team and streamline operations.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the Sales Team to prepare accurate project costings and estimates.
2. Provide technical support to Architects and Contractors regarding product application and installation.
3. Manage the purchasing process, including raising Purchase Orders and liaising with suppliers.
4. Oversee the delivery and invoicing processes between suppliers and customers.
5. Supervise customer liaison to resolve queries and provide updates on outstanding orders.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably in small to medium-sized businesses.
2. Strong background in project costing, estimating, and administration.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
4. High proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel) and familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, a systematic approach to work, and a commitment to personal development and process improvement.
