Job Description: Warehouse Operative Hertford, Hertfordshire Up to 27k (DOE) Our client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their dedicated team. Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will be responsible for receiving and dispatching materials and components, arranging both UK and international shipments daily, and ensuring all goods are shipped on time. Maintaining a safe, tidy, and hazard-free warehouse is essential to this role. Key Responsibilities: " Goods Receipt & Inventory: Book in and ship goods within deadlines, manage stock flow, and accurately identify, receive, unpack, and store incoming materials and components. " Inventory Control: o Conduct weekly cycle counts and annual full stock takes. o Report any inventory issues. " Dispatch: o Pick, pack, and build weekly consignments of customer orders. o Use suitable packaging for safe international transit. o Book couriers via online portals, adhering to customs regulations and export controls. o Prioritise timely shipments to ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD). Experience Required: " Valid Forklift License (desirable). " Knowledge of inventory management and stock control. " Familiarity with incoterms, customs, and duties for import/export. " Experience with SAP is advantageous. " Able to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks.
