Salary: Grade 3 - 5, £24,404 - £29,093 (subject to evaluation)
Hours: 37 per week
Contract: Permanent
Denbighshire County Council has a vacancy for the above post to undertake reactive maintenance repairs and respond to any emergency incidents within the Highways maintenance team. You will also be required to participate in the Winter Maintenance Gritting service.
We are seeking an experienced operative but would welcome applications from those who meet the lower grades criteria, as we can provide the training and support for the successful candidate to reach the Grade 5 position. Starting grade would depend on current qualifications and Highways experience.
All applicants would preferably hold a current LGV Class 2 licence and HAUC/Streetworks qualification or willing to work towards these qualifications.
