Led by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) and in partnership with YMCA Downslink, the Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service provides support to children, young people and adults with mild to moderate mental health needs. We offer a variety of support and psychological therapies to the community of Brighton and Hove. Our interventions are diverse and evidence based, ranging from guided self-help and face-to-face or telephone support to workshop and group courses. We work closely with our Service-User steering group to refine and improve the services that we offer. For this role you will need accreditation as a BABCP Cognitive Behavioural Therapist or be eligible for accreditation. You will need to be able to: Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the service's referral protocols Formulate, implement and evaluate CBT therapy programmes for clients Educate and involve family members and others in treatment as necessary, conveying CYP CBT formulations with sensitivity in easily understood language Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered and clinical sessions carried out in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient.
