Job Purpose
We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Class 2 Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our clients team. In this role, you’ll handle the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of stock materials, including the timely delivery of packaged lubricants to client sites, quayside locations, and directly to vessels. Your role is critical in ensuring high-quality service and safety standards, supporting our commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Stock Management : Receive and offload goods (bulk and packed), verify materials against documentation, and address any discrepancies or damage. Use the Clarus Stock Management System for precise tracking.
* Storage & Safety : Safeguard materials by maintaining organized storage areas in compliance with company standards. Ensure proper identification, segregation, and documentation of dangerous goods.
* Order Fulfillment : Efficiently process and pack material requests, label, and prepare for transportation to land or quayside locations, or directly to client vessels.
* Vehicle Operations : Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, using forklifts and lifting equipment in accordance with legislation and company policies.
* On-Call Duties : Participate in an Out-of-Hours and Weekend Rota to ensure continuous service.
* Customer Engagement : Deliver goods with professionalism, building strong client relationships and positively representing the company.
* Warehouse Maintenance : Maintain high housekeeping standards in the warehouse, yard, and at customer sites to ensure safe, organized environments.
* Health & Safety : Promote a proactive HSEQ culture, ensure compliance with all safety procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Team Collaboration : Support colleagues with various duties as needed, contributing to a strong, collaborative team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5-15T Counterbalance Forklift Certification
* Class C Driver's License
* Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
* Spill Response Training
Desirable Qualifications
* Class C1E and Class CE Licenses
* First Aid at Work and Fire Warden Certification
* ADR (Dangerous Goods) Awareness
* COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) Awareness
* Manual Handling Certification
