To undertake routine servicing and maintenance of medical devices. To ensure that repaired equipment is electro-medically effective and safe by checking in accordance with the department test procedures and policies. To report and record defects in any equipment including repairs to the workshop manager and to ensure that non-compliant equipment is withdrawn from service. To apply specified procedures when dealing with equipment which has been contaminated. Occasional early/late working requirement to meet the clinical/logistical demand. Supporting workshop manager to maintain MEMS workshop and smooth operation of MEMS to meet clinical demand.
