The role is to support the supply chain and commercial teams to manage the service to all customer accounts. You will be responsible for managing the order processes, service reporting, relationship building and you will be the customers first point of contact for all service-related matters.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Competent on Word and Excel packages
Excellent attention to detail
Quick thinking with good problem-solving skills
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
Experience of ERP systems in a customer service environment
The role of Customer Service Account Lead at BBF
Print and review daily orders for allocated accounts and input additions and amendments into BBF's ERP system.
Manage the customer service level for allocated accounts.
Build fantastic working relationships with all customers and provide daily communication for all issues.
Maintain rolling stock sheets investigating discrepancies and challenging data.
Monitor the sales line email account.
Complete daily service level reports and communicate these to customers and the BBF business.
Working closely with planning / commercial and customers direct, manage and maintain all Christmas tracking sheets and ensure customer orders are in line with agreements, stock delivered within MLOR with no waste.
Complete relevant invoice files for finance and investigate any queries or discrepancies.
Track all 3PL stored stock / challenging data / managing returns with both the 3PL and the customer.
Submit 3PL claims where required.
Produce customer forecasts using customer portals and challenge when orders differ.
Maintain the relationship with all charity partners, ensuring no stock goes to waste.
Working with finance and our 3PL's ensure all invoicing is accurate and pod's provided.
Provide cover for other customer accounts during holiday and absence and provide weekend cover when required (1 in 4/5 weeks)
Carry out all other necessary tasks to ensure the smooth running of allocated customer accounts.
