An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious customer service Co-ordinator to join a friendly dynamic team of a national new homes builder based in their northern office. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring defects are promptly addressed in accordance with service level agreements. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including Building Housing Managers and Maintenance Managers. Supporting cost control and recovery on site by ensuring work specifications and contract charge procedures are followed. Contributing ideas and strategies to improve build quality and after-sales services. Overseeing handovers for pre-sale and 12-month defect inspections for shared ownership and outright sale properties. Coordinating subcontractors for remedial work, managing the process from start to finish. Assessing subcontractor performance and escalating any issues to the Customer Care Manager. Always Adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines. Monitoring subcontractor progress and addressing performance concerns as needed. Preparing and submitting weekly progress reports to the Customer Care Manager. Ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately filed and maintained in the customer care database. Striving to improve customer satisfaction and consistently meet service standards. Required Experience: Outstanding interpersonal skills for effective communication with both internal and external customers. In-depth technical knowledge of house building, including electrical, plumbing, and a clear understanding of defects and remedial work specifications. Ability to think strategically and manage complex work schedules. Calm, professional, and efficient, with the ability to handle customer complaints with patience and composure. Strong commitment to customer service excellence and consistently meeting required standards. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess information logically. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills to effectively manage daily workloads.
