Your New Company:
Our client’s focus is centred around taking care of our customers and understanding that when disaster strikes, it’s not just about bricks and mortar - it’s about the people, their homes, and their peace of mind.
You’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring that each customer’s journey is as smooth and stress-free as possible, helping them get back on their feet with confidence and care.
Your New Role:
* Managing Your Own Schedule - Working from your home and your local office, you’ll have the responsibility of managing your own diary, giving you the flexibility to arrange site visits and follow-ups at times that suit both you and the customer.
* Managing Claims – You’ll see claims through from start to finish. Those joining with less experience will predominantly deal with lower value claims until you feel comfortable dealing with those of a higher value.
* Team Work - You won’t be alone! You’ll work closely with a dedicated adjusting executive, as well as having the wider support of your colleagues within your local regional team.
* Conducting Site Visits - You’ll visit properties to assess damage and understand the full scope of claims, using your keen eye for detail to document everything accurately.
* Engaging with Customers - You’ll be on the front line, providing comfort, clarity, and support to customers when they’re at their most vulnerable. You’ll be the face of the client, embodying their ethos of care and professionalism whilst delivering fast but fair settlements of the customer’s claim.
* Documenting and Reporting - From photos to paperwork, you’ll ensure every claim is documented meticulously and submitted in line with company and regulatory standards.
About You:
* Experienced in Property Claims - You will have a background in domestic property claims and a strong understanding of what’s involved in assessing damage, managing expectations, and guiding customers through the claims process.
* Experienced in visiting or inspecting customers’ properties - whether this was on your own or in a support role.
* Negotiation skills - You should have strong negotiation skills to reach fair and satisfactory settlements.
* Empathetic Communicator - You’re great with people and have a knack for making them feel heard and supported, especially when they’re going through a tough time.
* Detail-Oriented - Accuracy and attention to detail are in your DNA. You know that the small things matter, especially when it comes to assessing property damage and ensuring claims are processed smoothly.
* Organised and Proactive - You enjoy managing your own workload and are great at prioritising tasks to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
* A Team Player - You thrive in a collaborative environment where sharing knowledge and supporting each other is key.
* Full UK driving license is a must, as you will be travelling to visit customers.
* Flexibility - Enjoy the autonomy to manage your own diary and plan your site visits in a way that works best for you and your customers.
* Support - You’ll have the backing of a dedicated adjusting executive and a local office team who are there to help you every step of the way.
* Professional Growth - A client that is committed to your development, offering training and opportunities to expand your skills and grow your career.
* A Great Culture - Join a company where people matter. They’re proud of their supportive, friendly team environment and our focus on making a real difference in customers lives.
* Competitive Benefits - Our client offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package including an excellent bonus scheme, car allowance/company car, private healthcare, a healthy work-life balance and lots more!
