We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Psychologist to support our Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and the multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality neuropsychological services. This role involves a blend of clinical support, assessment, and administrative duties, contributing to the rehabilitation and progress of our patients.

What you'll be working:
This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for a fixed term of 1 year.
What you'll be doing:
The post holder will provide technical and clinical support for the Consultant Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologists as follows:
1. Assist with psychological assessments, including the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests under supervision.
2. Support the development and implementation of individualised rehabilitation and intervention plans.
3. Assist with the planning, organisation and running of therapy and rehabilitation groups.
4. Conduct behavioural observations and collect data for clinical audit and research.
5. Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, effectively communicating patient progress and feedback.
6. Manage clinical data, ensure accurate record-keeping, and maintain the psychometric tool inventory.
7. Participate in service evaluations and attend relevant meetings within the unit.
8. Keep people safe from any harm and protect their human rights.

What you'll have:
1. Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minimum 2:1 (required); eligible for British Psychological Society (BPS) Graduate Basis for Membership.
2. Post-graduate training in neuropsychology (e.g., MSc) is desirable but not essential.
3. Experience working in a psychology, healthcare, or neuropsychology setting would be advantageous.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, patients, and families.
5. High level of organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
6. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
