Manage a 6 bedded residential home for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities
Manage the services within the service in accordance with standards agreed with the Person Registered
Participate in evaluation of the service against agreed organisational goals, business, and quality objectives
Formulate and implement of all of the policies and procedures
Provide leadership of the administration, care, and people management functions of the Service, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance
Maintain the operations of the service within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
Formulate and administer the service’s budget based on the service’s objectives
Maintain support and management skills
Specify, recruit, select and train employees, implementing the induction of all new employees
Ensure that job descriptions for all employees are appropriate to current practices in each function
Work in cooperation with members of multi-disciplinary health teams in order to maximise opportunities for Service User therapeutic support Requirements
A minimum of Level 4 qualification in Health and Social care is required
Must have 5 years’ experience of working with adults in a managerial capacity within a residential setting and a minimum of 2 years working with adults
Detailed knowledge of policies and procedures
Inspirational, experienced leader who has the right skills, values, and knowledge to develop and lead a staff team to ensure the needs of the adults are met
