Role and Career Opportunities Our client has an ongoing commitment to growth in terms of client acquisition, geographical reach, and evolution of their lines of business and service catalogue. To support these ambitions, they take on two cohorts of five junior sales consultants each year, in April and again in October.
Subject to meeting reasonable competency and performance targets, candidates can expect regular advancement on their journey:
Initial Focus: Candidates will initially focus on candidate research and recruitment. After six months, they will be allocated to a line of business, allowing them to become specialist recruiters within that business or technology field. Training specific to the line of business will enable candidates to master their ability to converse confidently with client and internal specialists.
Progression to Client-Facing Sales: After a period of 1218 months, candidates can expect to begin their move into client-facing sales. They will be allocated a small number of clients specific to their line of business, starting with client research and progressing into full client engagement if the client is approved as a target.
Closing Deals and Generating P&L: Once candidates close deals with clients (bringing master services agreements between the client and their company), they will begin to generate P&L. Subject to competency and revenue targets, they will complete their transition into sales. This phase is expected to take 1824 months, during which they will be supported by senior sales leads, a deal architecture/pre-sales team, and subject-matter experts from within the delivery teams.
Becoming a Fully-Fledged Sales Consultant: As fully-fledged sales consultants, individuals will be part of a smaller group of 10, recognized as some of the best in the world. They will manage their client portfolio and may be given an expanded scope of clients, allowing them to grow further. Depending on results, they may be allocated one or two strategic key accounts with the greatest potential for growth. These accounts are global and relevant for multiple lines of business, offering a significant portfolio that drives substantial P&L and earnings.
The most successful salespeople will have the opportunity to become Partners, gaining access to company stock granted annually based on a transparent assessment of contribution. Within the sales team, there are currently three Partners, all of whom came through the graduate programme, and two more are expected to be promoted in 2025. The sky is the limit for the most ambitious and driven candidates!
