About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Guildford
A Behaviour Teaching Assistant is needed for a secondary school in the London Borough of Lambeth. In the role of a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work inside a classroom supporting young people with their academic studies, assisting them with their core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science. You will also work outside of the classroom either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups with young people who have similar needs. You will be running intervention groups to help them improve their social and emotional needs positively. Your work will focus on helping young people develop problem-solving skills and gain insight into their own behaviour. You will provide guidance and support to help them build their confidence and self-esteem, creating a safe and supportive environment for their development.
