Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency, has a new permanent position available for a Practice Lead within the High Needs Team to work full time based in Hull.
The salary for this permanent Practice Lead job is up to £43,516 per annum.
Main duties:
* Contributes to the overarching strategy and vision on Adult Social Care to ensure that the principles of the operating model are understood and implemented by the team.
* Contributes to and assists the manager to provide professional leadership of organisational change and development, including the identification of gaps in service.
* Promotes positive working relationships in and across teams, using strategies for collaboration and contributes to a supportive organisational culture.
* Facilitates case discussion and quality monitoring to ensure that principles of the operating model are understood and implemented.
* Maintains current knowledge of changes in national and local contexts and understands their impact on practice and communicates this effectively within and outside of the organisation.
* Engages and encourages partnerships, formal and informal networks to support the development of staff/team to further enhance their skills and knowledge that will provide solution-focused/person-centred practice that is equally legally compliant.
* As directed, supports the operational manager with continuous team development and service improvements.
* Demonstrates a high visible engagement with staff including providing coaching, informal/formal discussion to create a learning environment that supports self-awareness, development and continuous improvement in team dynamics and delivery of services/functions.
* Supports the operational manager in preparing and presenting team activity and performance including reporting risks through corporate risk register, exploring potential solutions, completing investigations and reporting detailed analysis and learning to evidence improvement and/or achievement of agreed targets/performance measures.
* Provides expert advice and support to enable staff/team to develop new ways of working and translate legislation, guidance, policies and procedures into sound and confident practice.
* Meets the requirements of the professional regulator and supports staff to access professional social work advice and support.
* Prepares evidence and writes reports to support the operational manager in dealing with complaints, court proceedings, workforce issues, etc.
Requirements of a Practice Lead:
* A social work qualification or equivalent.
* Understanding of relevant legislation.
* Registered or eligible for registration.
* Best Interest Assessor (BIA).
* Management and/or leadership qualification.
