Job Description:
The Talent Development Partner is responsible for designing, implementing and overseeing talent and development programmes to support the delivery of the talent strategy, enhancing skills, improving team performance and fostering career growth for all. This role will work closely with the Head of People and Culture (P&C) Partnering, P&C Business Partners, leadership team and employees, creating timely learning programmes which align with the broader business strategy.
What you'll be doing:
1. Working in partnership with the Head of Talent, People and Culture Team, Heads of Department and Line Managers to identify learning needs and create and implement targeted development initiatives.
2. Work with the Head of Talent and Head of People and Culture Partnering to devise and implement performance review and succession planning initiatives.
3. Support the Head of Talent with the design and implementation of leadership development and coaching interventions.
4. Identify opportunities to support team-wide change management opportunities and work with the Head of Talent and People & Culture team to design and implement appropriate programmes.
5. Oversee the programme of compliance training via our LMS and ensure that regular reviews and appropriateness of content are conducted.
6. Work with the Head of Talent to develop robust reporting and evaluation of programmes and interventions.
7. Keep up to date with emerging learning technologies and opportunities.
8. Provide wider administration support as required to the People and Culture team including Talent Acquisition.
Requirements:
1. Strong experience of identifying and implementing targeted learning and development programmes within a medium to large size organisation.
2. Strong track record in delivering innovative performance review and succession planning initiatives.
3. Experience of using and configuring a Learning Management System such as Kallidus or similar.
4. Understanding of managing early careers initiatives including work experience, internships, apprenticeships and graduates.
5. A strong facilitator, comfortable with scoping and delivering internal bespoke workshops.
6. Excellent organisation skills, able to effectively prioritise their workload.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Able to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
