At Alderman Richard Hallam Primary School, we are looking for dynamic and reliable cleaners to work as part of our friendly team to perform a variety of regular and one-off cleaning tasks and duties as directed by their line manager. This position will report to the Premises Officer and the Senior Leadership Team. At ARH, we celebrate and promote positive health and well-being for everyone. We have a Well-being and Workload Reduction Team compromised of different roles within the school. The team have introduced a number of well-being initiatives such as staff quizzes, bingo nights, pamper sessions and half a day of well-being time, to name just a few. They also work together to review the workloads of staff and find strategies for reducing unnecessary tasks; recently, they have revised the feedback policy and report format, making them much more manageable. Main duties and responsibilities:
Daily classroom and shared area cleaning.
Maintaining bathroom cleanliness.
Mopping hard floors and vacuuming carpeted areas.
Damp wiping all furniture, fixtures and fittings, emptying bins.
Liaising with the Premises Officer for larger seasonal projects.Undertake any additional cleaning duties as directed, by the Premises Officer.
To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed, in accordance with LCC.
