Time 4 Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Site Supervisor to join an award-winning, highly reputable contractor based in Cardiff, who specialise in concrete repair, structural water, and refurbishment.
Due to business growth, my client is recruiting for a strong Supervisor who has experience working on projects that have included concrete framework and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction. My client operates throughout the UK to both the public and private sectors.
As a Site Supervisor, your daily duties will include supervision of your team and site, ensuring that everyone is working safely and abiding by health and safety standards, whilst managing productivity and performance of your team.
The majority of projects for this client are South Wales based, but you will, on occasion, be required to work away, when travel and accommodation will be provided.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Project management - Overseeing the construction process.
2. Team coordination: Supervising construction workers, subcontractors, and staff.
3. Quality control: Inspecting and monitoring work to ensure adherence to plans, regulations, and safety standards.
4. Problem-solving: Addressing and resolving issues that arise during construction.
5. Safety management: Assessing and managing safety hazards in the workplace.
6. Ensuring all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
7. Goal setting: Setting goals for the team.
8. Record keeping: Completing records for site reports.
9. Material management: Managing orders and deliveries of construction materials.
10. Staff scheduling: Organizing staff work schedules.
Minimum Requirements:
1. SMSTS or SSSTS.
2. CSCS Card.
3. Previous site supervisor experience with a construction background.
4. Experience in running gangs on site.
5. Strong focus on driving health and safety standards.
6. Be self-motivated and able to command others.
7. General computer skills.
8. Driving Licence.

As a Site Supervisor, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £35 to £40k depending on experience. This is a permanent role to start ASAP! You will receive continued training, support, and progression. The location for this role will be mainly based in Cardiff and work on projects in South Wales. There will be occasions when you will be required to work away, when travel and accommodation will be provided.
