Taskmaster Resources is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experiencedProperty Inspector (Mechanical). This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key role in inspecting, maintaining, and managing minor planned works across a large non-housing property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections and response-led assessments of mechanical systems across multiple properties.
* Ensure all repair work aligns with planned and non-planned maintenance programs.
* Provide annual written reports on mechanical services and contribute to asset management planning.
* Respond to emergency repair requests and participate in the formal standby scheme.
* Issue repair instructions, verify contractor invoices, and supervise project completion.
* Liaise with premise managers to address mechanical service requirements.
* Monitor and inspect capital projects related to mechanical systems.
* Stay up to date with regulations, includingBuilding Regulations, Health & Safety, Gas Safe, CDM, and energy efficiency guidelines.
About You
Essential:
* HNC (or equivalent) in a construction/services-related discipline.
* Minimum5 years of experiencein the mechanical services industry within the commercial sector.
* Knowledge ofgas safety, energy management, and plant control systems (BEMS).
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
* Mobility across the Falkirk Council area.
Desirable:
* Gas Safe registration for commercial properties.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Membership in a relevant trade body.
* Proficiency inCAFM systems, CAD software, and Microsoft Office applications.
