Job Title: Advanced Practitioner (Children)
Working Hours: Hybrid
Rate: £40 per hour
Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join a dedicated team based in Wigan.
Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will use your social work expertise to manage complex cases, mentor fellow social workers, and uphold the highest standards of practice. Your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children will drive your work every day. You will be managing support workers and/or social workers, deputizing for the Team Manager in their absence, and supporting and mentoring other social workers. Experience of working within a busy and fast-paced fostering team is essential, along with knowledge and experience of LADO and OFSTED procedures and notifications, and LA Stability panels. You will be supporting a small caseload of more complex foster carers, children, and young people, having sound knowledge of times when support needs to be increased. Providing fostering families with support, guidance, and advice, completing annual reviews and all associated paperwork within timescale, and participating in the duty rota (office-based, one week at a time) are key responsibilities. Knowledge and experience of Safeguarding and some experience of quality assurance are also required.

What we are looking for in a Qualified Social Worker:
* Social Work England registration
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK license
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
