The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply Main duties of the job Ensure that food deliveries stored appropriately and undertake testing by using the process of probing foods for temperature and record findings as appropriate. prepare and serve morning and afternoon planned beverages to patients when necessary and too collect, wash and refill and distribute water jugs and tumblers Prepare and cook special dietary meals and snacks for patients i.e. Neutropenic, C.C.U. etc.o Regeneration of foods in line with cook-chill/cook-freeze guideline including the delivery and return of regeneration food trolleys to/from the kitchen. Prepare and assemble crockery, cutlery and utensils for each patient meal service and the buttering of bread and clear and wash all crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. Using appropriate dishwashing machine and detergent.
