The Role
The Football Development department is looking for highly enthusiastic football coaches to deliver on a range of football programs for 3-16 year olds.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality football sessions that engage, enthuse, and progress young people.
* Engage, inspire, and empower young people to reach their full potential.
* Liaise with the Football Development Manager and Officers, promoting the Football/Sports Development programmes.
* Undertake administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the project (e.g., maintain attendance registers, organise fixtures, collect payments).
* Manage, develop, and support coaches and volunteers involved in coaching sessions.
* Work in partnership with BFCitC and Burnley Football Club departments on community initiatives.
* Ensure health and safety issues are implemented in all areas of the programme.
* Monitor and evaluate the programme and contribute to future design of delivery.
* Identify talented individuals and refer them to appropriate destinations.
* Work with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
* Understand and implement the Charity’s Safeguarding policy and best practice guidelines.
* Work flexible hours as required by the role.
* Work towards agreed objectives.
* Comply with all Charity policies.
* Promote the Burnley FC in the Community brand in a professional manner.
* Support other areas of the organisation as required.

* Attend training courses for professional development.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills
* FA Level 1 in Coaching Football.
* Experience in planning and delivering football coaching sessions.
* Full clean driving license with access to own transport.
