HR Administrator (Temporary) Leeds Job Type: Full-time
Here at Hays, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator on a temporary basis to cover a busy period. The HR Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, assisting with various HR functions, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities and a keen understanding of HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, processing documentation, and managing HR databases.
* Recruitment: Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with candidates.
* Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and conducting initial training sessions.
* Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters, ensuring a positive employee experience.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, assisting with audits and maintaining accurate records.
* Benefits Administration: Assist in managing employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication with providers.
* Event Coordination: Help organise and coordinate HR events, such as training sessions, workshops, and employee engagement activities.
* Reporting: Generate HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and track HR activities.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR management software.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
