We are looking for a Band 6 Cross Sectional Imaging Radiographer to join our team in CT and MRI scanning.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of CT & MRI and will work alongside our current team on the rota. Radiographers work in both CT and MR scanning. We work a shift pattern covering 24/7, 7 days a week. Staff are on-site for 12 hours at a time, in the vast majority of cases. Our staff work across multiple areas including the CDC's for imaging. These are located at multiple sites, some offsite from the main hospital.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is motivated to ensure that each patient receives a good experience from an understanding and friendly face! The team works hard to achieve this and patients are at the centre of all of our plans.
The applicant will need to attend a face-to-face interview on site with presentation.
We offer a variety of work which includes cardiac CT, perfusion CT, dedicated GA sessions in MR, MR arthrograms, and angiography. The Trust is very supportive of trials, research, and audit and we work closely with many areas in order to provide the best, timely service for all patients.
Radiographer duties include scanning, record keeping, booking appointments and use of the RIS system, IV cannulation, and patient care activities, to name a few.
This position will suit a flexible, eager-to-learn, and caring person with great communication skills. We would be willing to consider an Annex 21 training post for the right candidate.
An on-site interview involving a presentation by the candidate will be required.
