As a Customs Clerk, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and compliant handling of goods through customs processes.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
* Ensure accurate and timely submission of documents to and from HM Revenue and Customs.
* Communicate effectively with clients, shipping companies, and transport operators to ensure efficient clearance of goods.
* Provide tariff and customs duty advice to clients to ensure compliance with UK and international regulations.
* Resolve any customs-related issues that may arise during the shipping process.
* Stay updated with changes in regulations, laws, and customs procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Customs Clerk or in a similar role within freight forwarding or logistics.
2. Strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
3. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
