About Zaya Al Fanar
Zaya Al Fanar is a dynamic and forward-thinking school in Dubai, offering a creative, cross-curricular approach to learning that blends the National Curriculum for England with a research-driven, holistic pedagogy. Our approach is deeply rooted in neuroscience, experiential learning, and cultural responsiveness, ensuring students develop a strong connection to their heritage while preparing for the modern world.
Our inspirational campus is designed to connect children with nature, featuring dedicated outdoor learning spaces, a thriving Forest School, and hands-on experiential learning opportunities. We take a Head, Heart, and Hands approach, nurturing intellectual curiosity, emotional well-being, and practical skill development.
Arabic at Zaya Al Fanar
Arabic is an integral part of our curriculum, and we are committed to ensuring that both native (Arabic A) and non-native (Arabic B) speakers develop fluency and a deep appreciation for the language. In primary, Arabic is integrated into cross-curricular learning, ensuring that it remains a living, meaningful language rather than an isolated subject.
We are looking for passionate and skilled Arabic teachers who can inspire a love for the language through storytelling, cultural exploration, movement, and hands-on learning experiences.
The Role
As a Primary Arabic Teacher at Zaya Al Fanar, you will:
* Deliver engaging and immersive Arabic lessons that integrate play, storytelling, movement, and practical experiences.
* Teach Arabic A and Arabic B in a way that fosters fluency, comprehension, and confidence in both native and non-native speakers.
* Use interactive, inquiry-based methods rather than rote learning to build a meaningful connection with the language.
* Collaborate with class teachers and specialists to integrate Arabic into cross-curricular learning experiences.
* Develop creative and engaging lesson plans that align with MOE expectations while maintaining a child-centered approach.
* Utilize formative assessment strategies to track progress and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
* Foster a positive and culturally rich classroom environment that celebrates Arabic language and heritage.
