Essential for this job:
* Must hold a full UK driving licence.
* Must enjoy and can participate in outdoor pursuits, including swimming.
Joe is registered blind; however, that does not hold him back. He loves the outdoors and enjoys walking over rough terrain, cycling, and kayaking. It is important for his emotional and physical wellbeing. Joe lives in his own home in Plymouth with a very well-established team, and he has full support around his daily lifestyle and managing his home. Joe's family is close by and they are very important to him, so it is essential you work to maintain and support these relationships.
As the Team Leader for Joe, you will already have some leadership skills and you should be able to demonstrate confidence in leading and supporting a team of around 6 to 8 people. You will be expected to lead on the shifts you work and you will have some dedicated management hours for planning rotas, taking part in training, and developing the team.
Joe is looking for someone with motivation and energy, someone that can continue to drive his team forward and support him to achieve his dreams and aspirations.
