As the Office Manager of the Kit Kemp Design Studio and Personal Assistant (PA) to Kit Kemp, Founder and Creative Director of Firmdale Hotels, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our creative department. The Kit Kemp Design Studio is renowned for its unique and original approach to hotel and residential design, characterised by colourful and detailed storytelling that celebrates craftsmanship and sparks the imagination. We collaborate with leading global suppliers to design bespoke fabrics, furniture, and fragrances that blend artistry with functionality, setting new standards in luxury aesthetics. As the Personal Assistant to Kit Kemp, you will play a key role within the Design Studio. You will provide comprehensive administrative and organisational support and assist in the efficient running of the Design Studio and associated companies. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the dynamic creative process at Kit Kemp Design Studio, contributing to the creation of extraordinary guest experiences across Firmdale Hotels. This is a full time position on-site. Office Manager/PA Responsibilities: Oversee the smooth running of the Kit Kemp Design Studio, ensuring it is well organised and efficient. Coordinate and organise internal and external meetings, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared in advance. Work closely with the design team and other departments to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Support the Kit Kemp and her team in managing project timelines and deliverables. Place orders for furniture and repairs for properties both in the UK and abroad. Manage installations, deliveries, and international shipments to the Kit Kemp’s properties Act as a liaison between Kit Kemp and designers, suppliers, and collaborators, assisting with photoshoots and Shop Kit Kemp. Co-ordinate with Press and Public Relations. Maintain and manage Kit Kemp’s daily schedule, including appointments and meetings Represent Kit Kemp professionally and courteously, ensuring all interactions reflect the brand’s high standards. Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity. What you Need: Proven experience as an Office Manager and Personal Assistant within the interior design or creative industries is essential. Knowledge of the Interior Design community and directory. Experience of dealing with the business side of collaborations and commissions. Experience of dealing with Press and Public Relations. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Flexibility to travel occasionally to New York and other locations as needed. Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and effectively influence others. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
