What you'll do
The international business brings M&S products to over 32 million customers globally and we have ambitions plans to “sell M&S to the world” through a first-class omnichannel experience.
We are looking for an Reporting Analyst to increase our central data and analytics capabilities, driving commercial value and utilisation of our data. This role will be the key in establishing strong relationships with Foods and other stakeholder groups to drive business change by empowering data-driven mindset across the business. The role holder will be responsible for the development of reporting capabilities and enhanced data-accessibility across the wider International business through proactive identification of requirements and delivery of user-friendly solutions. You will adopt best-in-class practices for development and provide ongoing support to relevant business areas, helping the community build the best-in-class International knowledge base.
10. Building strong relationships with Foods and other stakeholder groups.
11. Enhancing reporting capabilities through best-in-class practices and user-friendly solutions.
12. Providing ongoing support to relevant business areas and working alongside report engineering team based in India.
13. Supporting on upskilling across the International business through learning sessions, huddles and other activities.
14. Working independently to leading reporting projects and initiatives from scoping to delivery, and operational maintenance.
15. Proactively identifying report enhancement opportunities, evaluating various initiatives through data-driven approaches, and supporting long-term strategies.
16. Autonomously working with stakeholders to collating and delivering or actioning business requirements in the reporting space.
Who you are
17. Hands on experience with complex data sets through SQL application.
18. Advanced Power BI (or other) dashboard and reporting building experience.
19. Experience of working with retail-oriented datasets.
20. Excellent storytelling and communication skills.
21. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and stakeholder management experience and have led projects in the reporting space, ideally in a consumer facing organisation (retail preferable).
