Do you have a passion for teaching and are motivated by empowering young people? We are looking for flexible, compassionate, and highly-motivated QTS teachers for our ESOL classes. These provide basic English and maths for our young unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees (aged 16-19), as well as preparing them for life in the UK.
The roles are initially sessional (but may lead to a salaried position). We are offering a potential fixed-term 2-year contract of 0.4-0.8 fte as well as seeking sessional teachers.
Responsibilities
1. Teach basic English and maths to young unaccompanied asylum seekers and refugees.
2. Prepare students for life in the UK.
3. Engage with students compassionately and flexibly.
