Job Description Sometimes, the best work done is in the break room. Those 5 minute passing conversations when the kettle is brewing might give you more information than an hour’s support call. It’s partly the opportunity to speak to people when they’re not flustered that their IT isn’t working, it’s also because you’re not just a voice at the end of the phone. We’re working with an IT services company who provide IT support to schools. They recognise that these watercooler moments are integral to happy customers and happy IT staff. You’ll be providing on-site support to schools in the Manchester area. This isn’t just a standard break/fix role, you’ll be responsible for first and second-line support across EUC, Hardware and basic endpoint and network management. You aren’t alone in this; you’re backed up by an off-site support team. You’ll be interacting with staff and making sure the support you and the team provide is working for them. You’re the face of the operation, they’re the muscle. Requirements: Must have a UK driver's licence. Must have full RTW in the UK. Must be able to pass a UK Enhanced DBS check as you’re working in schools. Minimum 2 years’ It support experience If you’re looking for a varied role, with the opportunity to get to know the users you look after I’d be interested in having a chat with you.
