The role
Oversee the in-house recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding new hires, ensuring all pre-employment tasks are completed. To deliver a positive and highly engaging candidate experience to attract, recruit and hire talent into the Hill Robinson corporate function globally.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Resourcing
* Follow approval processes from role commencement to offer stage, including hiring approvals before advertisement
* Collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand role requirements, agree on criteria, tools, dates, and timelines, and keep them updated
* Guide Line Managers through the Workforce Plan toolkit
* Manage end-to-end resourcing within SLA’s and KPIs, ensuring quality standards
* Provide effective recruitment solutions, deciding on sourcing methods (in-house, LinkedIn, networks, agencies)
* Use specialist knowledge for cost-effective resourcing plans
* Coach and advise managers on candidate selection.
Onboarding
* Ensure compliance with pre-employment tasks such as taking references, pre-hire paperwork, background and right to work checks
* Coordinate with Line Managers for first-day setup
* Issue welcome packs
* Make offers, draft offer letters, and contracts
* Convert candidates to hire status on HRIS
* Introduce new joiners to Local HR on their first day
* Record and upload recruitment documents to BambooHR.
Post Hire and Ongoing
* Capture feedback from line managers and candidates for knowledge sharing during recruitment and onboarding
* Retain salary benchmarking and market rate data
* Collaborate with Group HR to build a Line Management resource hub
* Use proactive search to grow Talent Pool
* Review and renegotiate agency fees/rates
* Develop and maintain recruitment metrics
* Ensure smooth integration with BambooHR
* Support the Group HR team as appropriate.
Skills and experience required:
* Extensive in-house recruitment experience at all levels including executive roles, in a global organisation
* Excellent English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
* High emotional intelligence, responsibility, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
* Resilient, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
* Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
* Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of working independently.
* Ambitious, energetic, with strong interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.
Hours:
Part time hours - 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
