CMA is pleased to be partnering with a reputable, independent firm based in Camberley who are currently looking for a semi-senior Accountant to join their team within a progressive role which includes both Audit and Accounts. This firm has a varied portfolio from Creatives to Construction and Legal to NFPs who they offer a full-service line to.
What will the Semi Senior Accountant & Auditor role involve?
* Preparing statutory accounts, auditing, VAT returns, payroll, corporation tax and personal tax returns, and reviewing some simple ones.
* Ensure the year end files are complete with back up schedules to support balance sheet figures.
* Ensuring consistent quality over all work.
* Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
* Supervising, managing, motivating and training junior staff.
Suitable Candidate for the Semi Senior Accountant & Auditor vacancy:
* Relevant experience working within a busy, fast paced practice environment.
* This role would suit a part qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA accountant.
* Ability to handle client enquiries on a day-to-day basis and know when to inform the manager to ensure they are fully up to date.
* Clear and concise communication skills.
* Polite, enthusiastic and presentable.
