Julie Rose Recruitment are looking for a Project Planner to join our client based near London Bridge. You will play a critical role in ensuring project schedules meet client requirements and are delivered with the highest quality and timelessness.
Hours: 9am till 5.30pm
Hybrid working – up to 2 days remote.
Salary - £42,000 - £47,000pa
Main duties for the Project Planner:
Develop and maintain project programmes using Microsoft Project and SmartSheets.
Prepare design, procurement and construction schedules for tenders, funding applications and live projects.
Ensure project schedules align with NEC contract requirements and record key events for entitlement claims.
Assist in resource planning, logistics, and budget management.
Attend client meetings and present project updates.
Review and comment on subcontractor programmes.
Scope and project manage business improvement tools and processes.
Support business development by producing schedules tailored to client requirements.
Maintain and build long-term client relationships.
Assist the Head of Delivery in managing project delivery timelines, budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
Person specification for the Project Planner:
Degree in project management or relevant engineering discipline (minimum HND/HNC).
Experience within project planning, with technical knowledge of M&E systems or heat networks.
Proficiency in planning software (Microsoft Project, SmartSheets).
Strong experience with NEC and JCT contracts.
Health and Safety training (CSCS card/SMSTS).
Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
Excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
The Project Planner role is a full-time, permanent position.
The salary range reflects the candidate's level of experience. The lower end of the band is suited for individuals who may require additional training to meet the role's requirements, while the higher end is for candidates who possess the exact skills and experience outlined above
