Inclusion and Wellbeing is our holistic approach to physical and psychological health and safety - addressing the unique risk factors in construction.
Expanded is a member of the Laing O'Rourke construction group, we are recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager at Sizewell C, Suffolk. The Expanded Group provides total capability in the early construction phases of major projects, providing an end-to-end solution or a bespoke choice of services. The Health & Safety professional will lead and manage health and safety delivery within Expanded and measure Health & Safety performance against strategic deliverables.
What will the role look like?
* Provide local advice and support necessary to assist managers and staff to fulfil their safety responsibilities to the high standards demanded by the business.
* Facilitate and coach operational teams on Inclusion & Wellbeing and the respective engagement tools, which will allow the team to engage effectively with the workforce.
* Carry out relevant Health & Safety assurance activities, providing confidence to the business that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes are being delivered.
What skills & experience are we looking for?
* Qualification at level 5 (min)
* Experience working on civils infrastructures projects
* Technical knowledge in Occupational Health Risk Management and Wellbeing
* Technical knowledge in Safety Risk Management
* Coaching / Training competence
* Assurance / Audit / Investigation competence
* Member of relevant professional body
