Senior Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for healthcare assistants to join our community team to contribute to the provision of high-quality holistic care for patients at home.
Position: Senior Healthcare Assistant
Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full and Part-Time (Up to 37.5 hours per week, hours to suit)
Salary: £11.79 - £12.62 p/h plus enhancements

About the Role
As Senior Healthcare Assistant your main responsibilities will be to assist with patients' personal care, helping to move, position and mobilise patients and observing their general condition in line with the care plan, reporting any changes as required. You will assist with patients' nutritional needs and update the patient record system .
About You
To be considered for this role you will need to have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification and previous experience in a health care setting.
You should also be aware of the physical and emotional needs of patients suffering from a life-limiting illness and those of their relatives and carers and be kind and caring in your approach. Good teamwork and the ability to work a full range of shifts between the hours of 08.00- 21.30 (including some weekends) on a rota basis.
You will need to hold a UK Driving Licence with access to a vehicle with Class 1 business insurance, mileage expenses will be paid.
