About:
As the Procurement Manager, you'll oversee a team of 3–5 direct purchasing professionals. You will design and implement procurement strategies, establish strong supplier relationships, and ensure the seamless acquisition of materials and services. Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager:
1. Inspire and Lead a Dynamic Team: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of 3–5 direct purchasing professionals, driving excellence and collaboration.
2. Strategic Leadership: Oversee the work of talented Commodity Managers, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and delivering impactful results.
3. Craft Winning Sourcing Strategies: Use your industry expertise to develop and execute sourcing strategies that anticipate market trends and leverage cutting-edge technologies.
4. Forge Strategic Supplier Partnerships: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key suppliers, identifying and cultivating opportunities for mutual growth and innovation.
5. Own Negotiations with Confidence: Lead critical supplier negotiations, including NDAs, General Terms & Conditions, and Production Supply Agreements, ensuring favourable outcomes for the company.
6. Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee supplier performance in cost, quality, and delivery, identifying potential constraints to maintain seamless production schedules.
