Assistant to the Management Team
Job Location: Near Wyke Regis, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Salary depending on level of experience - £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5.00pm

A specialist Engineering company who has a great reputation in the industry for not only their experience but also that no job is too difficult for them to undertake is currently recruiting for an Assistant to the Management Team.
The role will see you support the management team and help them with all administrative tasks, producing quotes, coordinating the company works to clients, liaising with customers to gather information and advise of progress, liaising with purchasing and stores to make sure that the engineers have all materials needed to complete jobs and general administrative tasks.
We are looking for someone with the following skills / experience:
1. Excellent administration and organisational skills
2. Is a competent typist
3. Excellent attention to detail
4. Is well organised and can multitask
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
6. The ability to multitask and adapt to a changing workload whilst taking on additional tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business
7. Strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages (Word / Excel / Outlook)
8. Able to work independently and to deadlines
9. Previous experience in a similar capacity
Within your role, you will be undertaking (but not limited to):
PA duties:
1. Supporting the Management team with projects
2. Managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments.
3. Dealing with correspondence and phone calls.
4. Producing documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations
5. Organising events
Admin duties:
1. Assisting with confidential and sensitive information
2. Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
3. Quotes for Management team
4. Inputting data from employee timesheets
5. Certification upkeep, BS1090, ISO 9001, 14001, Vehicle docs (MOT, Servicing)
6. Implementing and maintaining procedures
7. Contracts - Starter Pack Bundle for Employees / Sub-Contractors
8. Auditing for company processes and procedures.
9. Resolving issues within company guidelines and policies.
10. Maintaining health & safety documentation including risk assessments
11. Upkeep of training records
12. Maintaining and creating standardised company documents
