We are looking for an enthusiastic and insightful Psychology Teacher to join a Social Sciences or Sixth Form team working part time and beginning September 2025. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity and analytical thinking, delivering high-quality lessons that make complex ideas accessible and engaging.
Duties as a Psychology Teacher:
1. Teach Psychology at a secondary level.
2. Design and deliver thought-provoking lessons that bring psychological theory and research to life.
3. Prepare students for exams and coursework assessments.
4. Support students in developing independent study skills, critical thinking, and academic writing.
5. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities such as psychology clubs, revision workshops, or guest speaker events.
Ideal Psychology Teacher:
* (Desirable) Experience teaching secondary level psychology.
QTS and a degree in Psychology or a closely related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching Psychology.
Ability to engage and motivate students with a variety of teaching strategies as a Psychology Teacher.
A reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous professional development.
