Location: Leicestershire/Loughborough (LE12)
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long Term to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

The Role:
We are working with a specialist all-through school in the Leicestershire/Loughborough (LE12) area that supports pupils aged 4-16. This inclusive setting offers a nurturing, structured learning environment for students with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll work closely with children across various key stages, offering tailored interventions and positive guidance to help them manage their behaviour, build confidence and re-engage with their education.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties
2. Supporting children in developing self-regulation and conflict-resolution strategies
3. Building trusting, respectful relationships with pupils to help them feel valued and understood
4. Assisting the wider staff team in maintaining a calm, consistent environment
5. Helping to implement personalised behaviour and support plans
6. Encouraging positive choices and promoting emotional wellbeing throughout the school day
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour
2. Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
3. Strong communication skills and a nurturing, child-focused approach
