Required for September 2025, a well-qualified and excellent classroom practitioner to teach Science across KS3 to KS5 and lead enhancing the existing Biology curriculum, with a particular focus on developing the Biology curriculum, and to support an established department.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated colleague who can add value to our already successful Science team, made up of 6 teachers including Head of Science (Chemistry specialist) and a Lead Practitioner in STEM (Physics specialist).
As a Lead Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Biology curriculum, working collaboratively with the Head of Science and the Lead Practitioner in STEM. We aim to strengthen the profile of Science within the school, inspiring students and supporting colleagues to deliver high-quality, engaging Science education.
We are an outwardly facing school in a beautiful part of the country, and this is a great time to join us. As part of the Initio Learning Trust, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across our three local schools, sharing best practice and developing innovative teaching strategies to enhance the Science curriculum and improve student outcomes. This collaborative approach offers a unique opportunity to broaden your professional experience and contribute to a wider community of learning.
