Overview We are seeking a skilled Mazak Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, with a preference for those familiar with Mazak machining centres using Nexus 2 controls. Confidence in machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze is essential for this role. Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate Mazak Machines, with a focus on machining centres using Nexus 2 controls Expertise in machining high value exotic materials, demonstrating precision and attention to detail Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines Qualifications Proven experience in programming and operating Mazak Machines, specifically machining centres with Nexus 2 controls Familiarity with machining high value exotic materials such as Nickel Alloy 625, 718, Inconel, and Aluminum Bronze Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Day-to-day Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to plan and execute machining projects Program and set up Mazak Machines as per project requirements Operate machines to produce precision parts from high value exotic materials Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications Maintain a safe and organized work environment
