We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent part-time receptionist to join our Highways England account in Nottingham - Stirling House, Osier Drive, Lakeside Court, Nottingham, NG15 ODS. This role is based on-site.
The salary is £12.00 per hour.
The standard hours of work are part-time 20 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday 07.00-15.30, and Wednesday evening 15:00-19:00hrs.
Amey delivers total facilities and estate management services, including planned and reactive maintenance works, cleaning, project and asset management across Highways England’s extensive and growing operational estate.
We work in partnership with our client, Highway England staff, building users and their supply chain partners to ensure the 24/7 service we provide is delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements that keeps one of the busiest road networks in Europe safe for the people and businesses who rely on it every day.
You will be responsible for:
* Daily operation of reception and front of house services
* Answering all calls promptly, politely and efficiently in the prescribed company/client manner
* Take messages and redirect calls when necessary whilst retaining ownership
* Take meeting room bookings in accordance with system/client procedures
* Report all faults in accordance with procedures
* Control site access for staff, visitors and contractors in accordance with client and safety procedures
We want to hear from you if you are:
* Experienced in working in a front-line customer-facing position
* Intermediate user of Microsoft standard office packages and knowledge of Teams would be an advantage
* A team player but able to work under your own initiative and escalate matters as necessary
* Good communication skills
* A desire to develop and undertake training as required
* Presentable and approachable, with a ‘can-do’ attitude
In addition to this, it would be desirable if you have customer service and communication skills and NVQ level 2 qualification in customer service or administration, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required training.
