We provide support to people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, older people, people with Autism and physical disabilities, across Wales. We do that in a number of ways from providing 24-hour support within their own homes, to providing shorter, more focused support to assist with individual tasks or care needs, which are often determined in conjunction with Social Services. The people we support, and their families are at the support of what we do so we are looking for individuals who have the right skills, experience and ability to provide a high quality of support and care to really make a difference.
Activities Coordinators will support the Area Manager to deliver on Cartrefi Cymru’s promise to build relationships and partnerships in the community through activities in community hubs across Carmarthenshire thereby increasing opportunities and delivering outcomes for the people we support.
What we can offer you: £28590.45 - 29140.26
(Pro rata Depending on choice of Salary below)
· £14.86 - £15.15 Flexible rate choose what suits you benefit option - 20 days annual leave (plus statutory) rising to 25 after 5 years + Bank Holidays in lieu. or Lower rate salary for 25 days leave on starting rising to 30 after 5 years.
· 45p per mile when using your own vehicle

KEY TASKS
What we expect from you:
1. A commitment to enabling people to live fulfilled and independent lives both within their homes and the wider community.
2. A full valid driving license and a car, which you are able to use for work purposes as driving is essential.
3. Level 3 / 5 qualification in Health & Social Care
4. Good organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
5. Good communication and networking skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
6. Able to think creatively and build on opportunities
7. Computer literate and have a thorough knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
8. Fully flexible over 7 days as evening and weekends will be required
