The Role
We're looking for a Resource Manager to serve as a key function within the agency, facilitating the allocation of work and ensuring project delivery schedules are adhered to.
This will be a hybrid role, where you will look after the Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness (SSW) Creative Team, whilst also managing specific client accounts that sit within our sister agency at Langland Advertising.
Working with others in the Resource Team across Publicis Health (PH), along with Project Managers, and the creative teams, you will allocate and schedule all work through the SSW creative department.
Responsibilities
* Work across all teams within SSW and PH to meet the varied needs and requirements of each project
* Proactively connect teams to improve alignment across multi-agency teams
* Ensure internal and external resources are used effectively
* Manage the workload and schedules for the SSW creative department
* Manage specific client accounts, and/or specific roles, within the Langland Advertising creative department
* Proactively manage both freelance and permanent creative workloads
* Advise on casting for projects using your knowledge and understanding of the creatives experience, expertise and capacity
* Work with the talent team to source, contract and onboard creative freelance support as needed
* Manage creative absences and holidays, making sure that overlap within the team is minimized and the wider team are aware of any leave or gaps in resource
* Working with the Project Management team, you will review data from the capacity plans and use this to make decisions for longer term resource planning and the shape of the creative team.
* Work closely with the Resource Managers across PH to communicate any creative availability or capacity challenges
* Assist with identifying skills gaps within the creative team
* Facilitate an ethos of open and continuous communication between project teams
* Continually build relationships within SSW and the wider Publicis Health Team
* Assist with the coaching and development of more junior members of staff.
Who you are
* Experience as a Resource/Traffic Manager
* Experience within a design or advertising agency.
* Proven experience working with teams to establish and implement new processes
* Knowledge of the internal workings of an agency and the processes of implementation
* Strong understanding of digital work processes
* An understanding of the specific rules and regulations that govern the healthcare category
* An understanding of the creative process and the life cycle of a creative campaign/project
