Administrator – Aurora Meldreth and Orchard Manor

The Aurora Group is an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities.
We are currently looking for an Administrator to support the Aurora Meldreth and Orchard Manor Services teams.
Meldreth Manor School, Meldreth Manor Children’s Home and Orchard Manor provide education, care and therapeutic support for children aged 6- years and young adults aged – years with severe and profound communication, cognitive and physical difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders.
The Role:
To provide confidential administrative support to the Aurora Meldreth and Orchard Manor Services teams.
To ensure the smooth running of administrative processes.
To work collaboratively with all other teams.
Key Duties :
1. Administrative Support:
2. Manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the Aurora Meldreth and Orchard Manor Services teams, including but not limited to, record-keeping, filing, and correspondence.
3. Coordinate and support the administrative needs of the staff, including scheduling, meetings, and communication.
4. Data Management:
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the young people, including personal information and care plans.
6. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality standards.
7. Financial Administration:
8. Assist in managing financial records, including invoicing, budget tracking, and personal allowance management.
9. Support the management teams in financial reporting and procurement processes.
10. Communication:
11. Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including parents, guardians, social workers, and regulatory bodies.
12. Facilitate effective communication within the organisation, ensuring that information is disseminated to relevant parties in a timely manner.
13. Regulatory Compliance:
14. Assist in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies, including safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements.
15. Support the coordination of inspections and audits, ensuring that necessary documentation is readily available.
16. Support for Staff:
17. Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating interviews and supporting onboarding procedures.
18. Provide administrative support to the staff teams, including arranging training sessions, minute taking, and maintaining compliance records.
