CAD Technician
Working in partnership with a family run company in HU7. We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This is a permanent position with a salary up to £33,000 DOE
Shift pattern / Working hours
Monday to Friday 40 per week 8 am to 4:30pm
Start date / Duration
CAD Technician will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with a current employer, we will work around this. This is permanent position.
Job description
Develop and produce Quality CAD drawings and models using software such as AutoCAD, Audesk Inventer and Sketchup.
Collaborate with colleagues and customers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations by providing technical drawings.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design processes.
Stay updated with the latest CAD technologies and best practices to enhance productivity.

The successful candidate:
Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD,
Profciency in sketchup and Inventer would be advantagous .
Strong understanding of engineering principles and design processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
A relevant qualification in engineering or design would be advantageous.
