Sales Manager - Events - Office Based - Kent - £55k base £80k ote
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join one of the largest events suppliers in the UK!
Partnering with some of the most iconic large scale event venues as well as working on prestigious events including The Olympics and COP26, the company supplies a huge range of event seating solutions, furniture, and accessories. You will be managing a team of 9 individuals.
The company services events and exhibitions across the UK and is the go-to supplier for venues, event agencies, sporting organisations, and more, having cemented its place in the events industry.
With an impressive ever-growing portfolio of clients, the company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the team and ensure continued success, with exciting plans for growth on the horizon making this an excellent time to join the team.
THE ROLE
In this highly integral role, you will be responsible for the growth and development of the sales & account management team.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Direct line management
2. Training and developing team members
3. Conducting weekly and monthly reviews
4. Planning and implementing sales strategies
5. Maximising revenue and conversion rates
6. Managing targets and departmental budgets
7. Developing targeted sales campaigns
8. Working across internal departments
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this position, you will have proven team management experience, ideally from within a similar company. A strong understanding of the events and exhibitions industry will be highly desirable, with the ability to motivate and lead a team by example, and an excellent commercial understanding is essential.
Salary: £50k - £55k base - £80k ote + Benefits
