You will be working as part of a team to: Provide advice (written and verbal) on the impact of development proposals (pre-application enquiries, applications, Listed Building Consents and enforcement) where there is an impact on the historic environment. Attend meetings (mainly virtually but some may be in person). Using archives, heritage legislation, and conservation standards for research. Communicating with planning officers, and giving technical advice to teams working on conservation projects. Site visits to assess historic buildings and structures. engagement/ liaison with Historic England. You will be expected to provide a high standard of work to the role.
