EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Water Quality and Environment team have an opportunity for you to join as our new Compliance Analyst.
In your new role, you’ll be responsible for providing and statistically analysing water quality and environmental data, as well as supporting and advising on development and use of water quality and environmental data and systems.
We want someone with the mindset of ending every day knowing they have done their best, making a positive difference for their customer every day.
Key Accountabilities
* Provision of regulatory data returns for DWI, Ofwat, EA and information provision to local authorities and administration of water quality IT systems including system improvements.
* You’ll produce reports for quality performance information and advanced level databases/spreadsheets, while liaising with data providers to ensure alignment of data.
* You’ll also train users in the use of water quality and environmental IT systems and reports and assess compliance against annual sampling plans.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be successful, it’s expected to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines and manage stakeholders accordingly.
You’ll ideally be in a scientific discipline, preferably Microbiology or Chemistry, with excellent skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI/Power Apps, and GIS systems. Knowledge of DWI, Ofwat, and EA requirements with respect to the provision of regulatory submissions and information would also be beneficial.
